Rusty Relics
We've all seen them; those rusting shells of once proud vehicles now sitting alone in a farmers field or abandoned along some backwater blacktop. Well it's only been fairly recently that I started noticing that: a) there didn't seem to be as many of them as there used to be and b), they have an inherant beauty in their rusty, decrepit state of repair and often lonely locale. Therefore, I've started to capture some of these old rusty relic images for your enjoyment as well, though I realize that I need to do a better job of documenting these photos than I have in the past. Sometimes, the only information I have on an image is the date and time of the original file and can only guess where in my trip I would have been at that time.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy some of these photos of once proud pieces of American iron.
